Last time i went to a arowana seller and saw 2 black aro like this. The boss told me they r born blind that is why it develope the black color.
Tht time i felt its special and considering bag it home.then the boss say since its blind , need some experience to take care especially the feeding part since it cant c where u drop the food.
On 1 hand i felt pity the fish born blind makes me wanna take good care of it and the boss say no many people wan this kinda aro. On the other hand , i really like the black color and its special. But since im newbie , so didnt take it. Scared ill make it worse without proper care.
Is it really hard to care? Im planning a tank in my office. If possible ill get this black aro. I think it is stil at the lfs.

My first few months was catching the aro in my hand and spoon feed it. You need a lot of care on them as they cant see can only sense. now I just put mp to its mouth it will eat itself, one day 5-6 slice of mp.
Im so happy as the effort paid off during my time using 1 hand to catch and 1 hand to feed. Will update a video on the feeding soon.
